Rebecca Penno has been practicing interior design in the Washington, D.C. region since 2006.  As a native Virginian, she looks to the state’s beauty and southern traditions for inspiration in her design work. Rebecca founded Penno Interiors after seven years of working with award-winning architects and designers at large firms in the area.  Rebecca received her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Marymount University.

With her years of training in high-end interior design, Rebecca can begin conceiving a room at the blueprint stage, and walk a client through the design process from construction to finished product. She’s experienced in collaborating with builders and architects along the way, taking a team approach to bringing a client’s dream home to fruition. Her specialties include interior architecture, finish selections and furnishings.

Rebecca also caters to clients who want to beautify rooms in their existing homes. Whether it’s color consultation, furniture placement or a kitchen renovation, Penno Interiors’ design services are flexible to meet each client’s needs.

Rebecca appeals to each client’s individual taste when executing each design, but she’s grounded in a traditionalist aesthetic, keeping her interiors fresh by incorporating classic lines and timeless style.
